AP gives awards for energy efficiency
The State Government through Andhra Pradesh State Energy Conservation Mission (APSECM) is preparing an exclusive action plan to fully involve all the energy conservation cells created in various departments to achieve the desired goals of energy savings, avoid wastage of electricity and inculcate the culture of energy conservation and efficiency.

During the valedictory of National Energy Conservation Week-2022 celebrations organized by APSECM here on Tuesday, Special Chief Secretary (Energy) K Vijayanand along with APTRANSCO JMD (Vigilance) B Malla Reddy presented the State Energy Conservation Awards (SECA)-2022 to those government and private organisations who did well in energy efficiency.
NTPC Simhadri National Thermal Power Station- Visakhapatnam, Padugupadu Gram Panchayat-Nellore, Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation-Vaddeswaram, Divisional Railway Hospital-Vijayawada, APSRTC Bus Station-Chittoor, Asian Paints-Visakhapatnam and NSL Textiles Limited-Edlapadu won awards under gold category.
